About the cover: Cover is based on a confocal image of visceral pleura receptors that arise from a network of branching nerve fibers in a whole mount preparation of rat visceral pleura; this combined image shows that VGLUT2 and P2X₃ receptor immunoreactivity are displayed with variable intensity in the same PGP9.5-immunoreactive (ir) laminar endings, but that their immunoreactivity is very weak in the branching PGP9.5-ir nerve fibers.
